About This Role<\/b><\/p>\n
\ufeff<\/span>As the Director of our childcare facility, you will be responsible for the effective operation and safe learning environment of the childcare center. You will oversee daily operations of the center with up to 150 children and 18(+) employees, ensuring State guidelines are followed. <\/span> <\/span><\/p>\n What You’ll Do<\/b><\/p>\n \ufeff<\/span>Guide\/direct, monitor and supervise the staff and children within the center<\/p>\n Maintain and foster positive and constructive interaction with students and parents <\/p>\n Supervise all activities to ensure proper participation and safety<\/p>\n Ensure and assist with maintaining a safe and clean environment<\/p>\n Assist with other duties as needed: may include food preparation oversighy, answering the phone, responding to parent questions, and opening and closing the school<\/p>\n Maintain an ongoing knowledge of State guidelines for Daycare centers. <\/p>\n Ensure all employee training requirements are up to date<\/p>\n Participate in student\/parent tours<\/p>\n Maintain constant supervision of students in care; attend to students in distress<\/p>\n Assist teachers with the weekly development and execution of the curriculum and program activities<\/p>\n You will also have a back-office and corporate support to guide you and assist you with your tasks <\/span><\/p>\n Requirements<\/b><\/p>\n \ufeff<\/span>40 Hour Directors Course Certification or CDA or Childcare Director Requirement as required by State of Georgia<\/p>\n Experience at the front desk (Director\/Assistant Director, Office Manager etc) of a licensed childcare facility<\/p>\n Previous Supervisory experience or experience providing work direction<\/p>\n Must have, or be able to obtain CPR\/First Aid and any other training required by regulatory agencies<\/p>\n Knowledge of child care licensing rules and regulations<\/p>\n Knowledge of early childhood education curriculum<\/p>\n All child care positions in the State of Georgia require daycare workers to have a current, satisfactory background check on file with Decal<\/p>\n Flexible\/adaptable to constant change<\/p>\n Ability to prioritize, organize and plan work under own initiative<\/p>\n Initiative to develop and maintain communication and build relationships with parents and others <\/span><\/p>\n Nice To Haves<\/b><\/p>\n \ufeff<\/span>Directors Course Certification<\/p>\n Certification or Degree in Early Childhood Education or other related field<\/p>\n Knowledge of Bright from the Start regulations for daycare and GA Pre-k program, as well as Quality Rated. <\/span><\/p>\n Benefits<\/b><\/p>\n \ufeff<\/span>Pay rate based on experience, education and credentials<\/p>\n Monday to Friday<\/p>\n Paid Training<\/p>\n Paid Time Off<\/p>\n Holiday Pay<\/p>\n Childcare Discounts<\/p>\n Bonus Pay <\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n About Us<\/b><\/p>\n Our Company is based out of Alpharetta, GA operating 24 Childcare Centers around Metro Atlanta<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" About This Role\ufeffAs the Director of our childcare facility, you will be responsible for the effective operation and safe learning environment of the childcare center.
