How is Prismpath™ different from other preschool curricula?

Prismpath™ blends structured learning with play-based exploration. Instead of worksheets and desk time, children learn through learning centers, outdoor discovery, group projects, and creative expression. Teachers are trained to connect every activity to specific developmental goals — like using building blocks to teach spatial reasoning or gardening to introduce basic science concepts. The curriculum also adjusts to each child's pace through ongoing teacher observations and assessments.

What does a typical day look like in a Chroma classroom?

A typical day at Chroma includes circle time for group learning and songs, center-based activities (art, blocks, reading, science, dramatic play), outdoor play, meals and rest time, and small-group instruction for school-age readiness skills. Infants and toddlers follow a flexible schedule built around individual feeding and sleep routines. Preschool and pre-K days include more structured literacy and math blocks to prepare children for kindergarten.

Does Chroma's curriculum meet Georgia's early learning standards?

Yes. Prismpath™ aligns with Georgia's Early Learning Standards (GELDS) and supports the Georgia Pre-K program requirements. Teachers use the Teaching Strategies GOLD assessment tool to track each child's progress across all developmental domains. Chroma also participates in Georgia's Quality Rated program, which evaluates curriculum quality, teacher qualifications, and child outcomes.
